Deliverables are the tangible outputs of your work. This guide explains how to track, submit, and get approval for deliverables on FlexDuty.What Are Deliverables?
Deliverables are specific work products you’re expected to create during the project. Examples include:| Type | Examples |

Viewing Deliverables
Access deliverables from your project dashboard:- Navigate to your project
- Click the “Deliverables” tab
- View all deliverables with their status
Deliverable Status
| Status | Meaning |

| Not Started | Work hasn’t begun |
| In Progress | You’re actively working on it |
| Submitted | Awaiting client review |
| Revision Requested | Client needs changes |
| Approved | ✅ Client has accepted |

Understanding Requirements
Each deliverable includes:- Title: What the deliverable is
- Description: Detailed requirements
- Due Date: When it’s expected
- Linked Milestone: Payment milestone it’s tied to
Updating Progress
Keep your deliverable status current:- Click on the deliverable
- Update status to “In Progress” when you begin
- Add progress notes if helpful
- Upload work-in-progress files if sharing drafts
Submitting Deliverables
When your deliverable is ready:1

Review your work against the requirements one more time

Attach all required files and artifacts

Add Description
Include a summary of what you’re submitting and any notes for the reviewer

Submit
Click “Submit for Review” to notify the client
What to Include in Submission
- All required files in requested formats
- A summary of the work completed
- Any caveats or limitations
- Recommendations or next steps
- Time spent (if relevant)
Review Process
Client Review
After submission:- Client receives notification
- They review your work
- They can:
- Approve: Deliverable is accepted ✅
- Request Revision: Needs changes
- Ask Questions: Via project chat
Handling Revision Requests
If changes are requested:- Review the feedback carefully
- Ask clarifying questions if needed
- Make the requested changes
- Resubmit with notes on what was updated
Revision requests are normal and not a negative reflection. Use them to better understand client expectations.

Quality Checklist
Before submitting, verify:All requirements addressed
Files properly formatted
No typos or grammatical errors
Sensitive data properly redacted
Executive summary included (for reports)
Recommendations are actionable
Communication
- Update status regularly so clients see progress
- Flag blockers immediately
- Share drafts if the client prefers early feedback
- Confirm understanding of feedback before revising

- Maximum single file: 100MB
- Maximum total per deliverable: 500MB

- Wait 48-72 hours before escalating
- Contact platform ops if still no response
