Create Your Account
Getting started on FlexDuty takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to create your expert account.Step 1: Visit the Signup Page
Navigate to flexduty.com/auth/register to create your account.Step 2: Choose Your Sign-up Method
You can create an account using:Fastest option - one click signup
Traditional email & password
Using Google
- Click the Google button
- Authorize FlexDuty to access your basic profile
- You’ll be redirected to complete your profile
Using Email
- Enter your email address
- Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click “Continue”
- Check your email for a verification link
- Click the link to verify your account
Step 3: Verify Your Email
If you signed up with email, you’ll receive a verification email within minutes.1
Check Your Inbox
Look for an email from noreply@updates.flexduty.com with subject “Verify your FlexDuty account”

Click the Verification Link
The link expires in 24 hours. If expired, request a new one from the login page.

Confirmation
You’ll see a success message and be redirected to complete your profile.
Step 4: Initial Setup
After verification, you’ll be guided through initial setup:- Select your role: Choose to join as an Expert (to work on projects)
- Basic info: Name, location, timezone
- Primary expertise: Select your main areas of expertise

- Check spam/junk folders
- Wait 5-10 minutes (some email providers have delays)
- Click “Resend verification email” on the login page
- Contact support if issues persist

Go to the login page, enter your email, and click “Resend verification email” to get a fresh link.
Account already exists

If you see this error, you may have previously signed up. Try logging in or use the “Forgot Password” option.
OAuth error with Google

- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Ensure pop-ups are allowed for flexduty.com
