What Is the Contractor Agreement?

This agreement defines:

  • Termination conditions
  • Platform rules and policies

When You Sign

You sign the Contractor Agreement:
  • When you first complete onboarding
  • When terms are updated (re-acceptance required)
  • For special exclusivity arrangements

Key Terms

Independent Contractor Status

You are NOT an employee of FlexDuty. This means:
  • You control how and when you work
  • You’re responsible for your own taxes
  • You provide your own tools and equipment
  • You can work for other clients
  • No employment benefits from FlexDuty

Termination

Either party can terminate:
  • You: Can stop taking new projects anytime
  • FlexDuty: Can terminate for policy violations
  • Effect: In-progress projects may continue to completion

Your Rights

Updates to Agreement

FlexDuty may update the Contractor Agreement:
  • You’ll be notified of material changes
  • You must re-accept to continue working
  • Old projects continue under original terms
  • New projects require acceptance of new terms

  2. Or navigate to flexduty.com/sellers/agreements
  3. Download signed copies as needed
